Detailed Itinerary of 4 Days Bwindi Double Gorilla Trek Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
To mark the start of your 4 Days Bwindi Double Gorilla Trek Safari, you will be picked up by our representative and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. along the way you will have a stop at the Equator Crossing to take pictures and have another stop in Mbarara for lunch. Continue to Bwindi Forest arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for an evening of rest, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Optional Batwa Pygmy Cultural Tour
Wake up early for breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive to the park headquarters where you will join other visitors for a gorilla briefing session. A ranger from Uganda Wildlife Authority will take you through the rules and regulations to follow while in the presence of the gorillas as well as in the forest.
In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, head into the forest searching for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 – 6 hours or more depending on the movement, when you locate these primates you will spend one hour in their presence watching them play, feed and groom each other, take amazing pictures and spend some time watching these primates go on with their life in the forest.
After your time with the gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarter, meet your driver guide and return to your lodge for an evening of rest or head to Batwa Village for a cultural experience.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today you will enjoy a second gorilla trek in Bwindi Forest, however this time you will visit a different gorilla sector giving you a chance to witness two habituated gorilla families in Bwindi as well as their way of life in their natural habitat to Entebbe International Airport with en-route lunch in Mbarara.
Day 4: Departure
Today is the last day of your gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi. You shall wake up early for breakfast, then check out and embark on a journey back. You will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination, bringing your safari an end.
