Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Uganda Safari Adventure
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala, spend the evening at rest recovering from jetlag. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park – the largest park in Uganda with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will see the endangered rhinos on foot. Have lunch in Masindi and continue to Murchison Falls National Park and head to the top of Murchison Falls for photos and see the River Nile squeezing through the narrow gorge to form the falls.
Head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Today you have a full day in Murchison Falls National Park. Wake up early for breakfast, go out for a morning game drive in the savannah plains, be on a lookout for several wildlife species including giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, hartebeests among others.
Return to the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls, heading to the base of the fall. As you cruise on River Nile you will see several animals including herds of elephants and buffaloes drinking water, Nile crocodiles and hippos in the waters and several water birds along the banks. The boat will make a stop for you to enjoy the beautiful views of the falls from below. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through western Uganda to Kibale Forest National Park with en-route. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking and the right to behave while in the forest. With your armed rangers and guides, you will enter into the rainforest looking for chimpanzees. The trek takes approximately 2 to 5 hours or more depending on the movement of the chimpanzee troop and where they spent their previous night.
Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have one hour of interacting with them, watch they jump from one tree to another, pick fruits and groom each other. You are free to take as many photos and videos as possible to commemorate this grand encounter.
Then trek back to the park headquarters to meet your driver-guide and return to your lodge and for an afternoon of rest as you reminisce on the day’s adventure.

Day 6 -7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Spend these two days exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park – the most popular wildlife destinations in Uganda and home to four of the Big Five and the rare tree climbing lions found in the Ishasa Sector.
On your Uganda Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will take part in game drives – morning and afternoon game drives on which you will explore the savannah plains of the park and sport a number of animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, warthogs, bush pigs among others. On one of the afternoons you will do a Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise, a natural water way connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. As you sail you will see herds of elephants and buffaloes along the banks of the channel, hippos and crocodiles in the waters and several water birds.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha Sector where you will spot the rare tree climbing lions lounging on tree branches.
Enjoy en-route lunch and arrive in Bwindi in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today we have an encounter with mountain gorillas. Enjoy an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the presence of mountain gorillas and in the forest.

With armed rangers and guides, head into the forest of Bwindi looking for a gorilla family assigned to you. The trek through the forest takes approximately 2-5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. Once you locate this gorilla family you will spend one hour observing the gorilla family, their characteristics and how they live in the forest. You are free to take as many photos as possible.
Later trek back to the park headquarters to meet your driver guide and return to your lodge for an evening rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Return to Entebbe
After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara. Your will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home, bringing your safari to an end.
