Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport – Kampala
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will drive you to your hotel for an overnight and dinner.

Day 2: Kampala – Kibale National Park
After breakfast, leave Kampala for a fascinating drive through the countryside to Kibale Forest National Park with en-route stop at the Equator for pictures. Arrive in the park in time for lunch, and in the afternoon go for an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and transfer to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, head out to Kibale Forest searching for chimpanzees. The forest is home to 13 primate species including the largest population of chimpanzees, red colobus, black and white colobus monkeys, blue and red tailed and grey checked mangabeys. Your guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable.
You will spend one hour in presence of the chimpanzees, then return to the lodge for lunch. Later, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National ark via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including elephants and buffaloes among others.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the forest from the Uganda Wildlife Authority staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots among others. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the great apes. Don’t forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
The tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours, and one hour of being in the presence of the gorillas watching them play, feed and groom each other. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the local people surrounding Bwindi Forest live. It is also a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. You will be amazed how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways.

Day 5: Bwindi – Entebbe fly to Nairobi
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe with lunch enroute with stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre to explore the lifestyle of the Ankole and Bahima, thereafter proceed to the Uganda Equator before your evening departure fight to Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, our safari guide will meet you outside the arrival area and assist you to your safari vehicle and transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast will be served early at the hotel, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Descend down the floor of the Great Rift Valley, have a short photographic stopover at the viewing point where you can enjoy stunning views of the Rift Valley Escarpments. Proceed to the park past Naivasha, Gilgil and Elementeita areas arriving at Lake Nakuru for check-in, then lunch. This afternoon, you will enjoy game drives in the park and along the shores of the Alkaline Lake.
Keep an eye out for endangered white Rhinos and Rothschild’s Giraffe which are rare sightings. The poplar pink necked lesser flamingoes may be spotted here seasonally. Other animals found in Lake Mburo National Park include buffaloes, lions, spotted hyenas, elands, waterbucks, zebras and birds like herons, pelicans, grebes, Egyptian geese, cormorants and Ibis among others

Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at your lodge on time for lunch. in the afternoon you will have a game drive in search for the Big Five and several other animal and bird species until evening.

Day 8 and Day 9: Masai Mara National Reserve
For 2 days, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives within the vast Masai Mara National Reserve. This is the time when most animals are more active before it is too hot. Also, you may depart with picnic lunch after breakfast with near full day spent in the reserve and lunch enjoyed on the banks of the Mara River, returning to your camp by 1530 hrs.
Masai Mara National Reserve is an extension of Serengeti National Park to the north and sharing the same eco system is a popular wildlife safari destination due to the high density of Big Game. There are over 95 mammals and 450 bird species found here including lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, gazelles and topis. The annual wildebeests and zebra migration (over 1.2 million) from Serengeti also takes place here from June to October every year.
 Also, you guide arrange for a visit to a traditional Masai Village (Manyatta) where you can join this pastoral community and learn more about their unique culture.
