3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Experience
Your 3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Experience takes you an immersive gorilla habituation experience which is only offered in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Rushaga Sector. This gorilla trekking experience is different from the usual gorilla trekking trips in the sense that you have a whole day of following mountain gorillas with chance to enjoy all the 4 hours of magical encounter with these rare species in their natural habitat.
Gorilla Habituation Experience mainly involves making the semi-habituated gorilla families get used to human presence before they are opened for gorilla trekking. It is a unique gorilla experience only carried out in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – home to half of the remaining mountain gorilla population.
The process of initiating wild apes lasts for 2 to 3 years or less depending on how the gorilla family responds to the process, and it is conducted by researchers, scientists and experienced trackers.
